I found this quick, healthy bagel recipe and had to share! Only takes around 5-10 minutes to prep, and 25 minutes to bake. If you try this recipe out, take a picture and tag @verve.blog on Instagram!
- 1 cup flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup nonfat plain Greek yogurt
- Everything bagel seasoning (your seasoning of choice)
Step 1: Preheat oven to 375. Combine flour, baking powder, salt, and yogurt in large mixing bowl.
Step 2: Once combined, lightly flour your surface and knead dough into a ball as shown.
Step 3: Separate ball of dough into fourths, and roll out as shown.
Step 4: Move dough to baking sheet with tinfoil, and combine links to make bagel shape.
Step 5: Lightly brush egg wash onto each bagel. This will give it that nice golden color, and allow the seasoning to stick easily! Sprinkle your seasoning of choice onto the bagels. I use Everything but the Bagel Seasoning from Trader Joes (Linked below).
Step 6: Place baking sheet in 375 degree oven for 25 minutes and VOILA! We dressed ours with an egg and avocado but anything will taste amazing!
